This week, our physiotherapy assistant Carol headed to Smyths Toys with an important mission: to find fun, engaging toys and equipment that can help support therapy sessions for both children and adults.
While many people think of toy shops as places for birthdays and Christmas presents, we see them as treasure troves of therapy resources.
The right toy can encourage movement, improve coordination, build strength, develop balance, and most importantly, make therapy enjoyable.
