Let’s Go Physio was developed in May 2019 following an extensive career in the NHS and within Private Practice.

We are now a team of highly experienced paediatric and adult treating physiotherapists across the North West of England. We are all HCPC registered and members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.

You can be reassured that we all have up to date Enhanced DBS checks, our mandatory training including Basic Support, Moving and Handling Skills and that our Information Governance is up to date.

We all have a wealth of knowledge and skills in paediatric and adult rehabilitation.

Claire Ingham

Claire qualified in 2004 from the University of Salford with a First-Class Honours Degree in Physiotherapy. Claire has worked in numerous NHS and private healthcare settings before setting up her own business in 2019.

She has a particular interest in working with complex neurological conditions, such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and acquired brain injuries.

She enjoys movement analysis using hands on therapy techniques to correct movement dysfunction.

Claire is trained using Bobath and MAES treatment concepts to an advance level within adult and paediatric neurology.

Her training in this field has spanned over 16 years which shows her commitment in providing the very best she can for her clients specific to their individual functional ability.

Alaina Anderson neurological physiotherapist

Alaina Anderson

Alaina has worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant for over 20 years. She joined us in October 2021 and is now Let’s Go Physio’s Practice Manager.

She has worked alongside and supported many experienced physiotherapists, working in a variety of care settings. She has worked on wards, set up and worked in outpatient clinics as well as in the community.

Alaina enjoys supporting patients, encouraging them to progress through physiotherapy programs to maximize function and independence.

She has a passion for paediatrics especially child development, she adopts a holistic approach with all her clients. Alaina has a vast knowledge of specialist physiotherapy equipment and is able to support clients, families and carers to use equipment safely with clear guidance and written instructions.

Alaina is a highly competent physiotherapy assistant who is passionate about personal development in order to deliver high standard, personalised treatment sessions within hydrotherapy and on land.

Kathryn Ford neurological physiotherapist

Kathryn Ford

Kathryn is a senior orthotist that qualified in 2012 at the university of Salford. Kathryn has worked as an orthotist both within the NHS and Private practice for 13 years gaining a large amount of experience.

Kathryn strives to achieve a high standard of care and is passionate about working in collaboration to create modern orthoses tailored to the individual needs of the patient.
She has experience in all areas of orthotics but is a specialist in innovative orthoses such as 3d printed orthoses, modern ankle foot orthoses and knee ankle foot orthoses as well as the use of carbon fibre and Lycra garments.

Kathryn is also experienced in treating complex neurological disorders, along with foot and ankle injuries, sport injuries with sport specific orthoses, spinal injuries and many other medical conditions.

Kathryn Booth

Kathryn qualified in 2003 from the University of Brighton. She is a Senior Physiotherapist with over 16 years’ experience specialising in Neurology within the NHS and private practice.

Kathryn has experience treating a variety of neurological conditions both in the acute and community setting including: Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Brain Tumours, Acquired Brain Injuries and Cerebral Palsy.

Kathryn has completed Adult Bobath Training. Kathryn is forward thinking and innovative in order to gain the best outcomes for her clients.

Erica Budd neurological physiotherapist

Erica Budd

Erica qualified in 1999 from the University of Coventry. Erica is a Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist with over 17 years’ experience.

She specialises in the assessment and treatment of children under 5 years. Erica has excellent communication skills.

Erica strives for quality being interested in condition specific guidelines as well as attending continual professional development opportunities.

Erica is a clinical educator and passionate about teaching less experienced physiotherapists.

Marc Maynard neurological physiotherapist

Marc Maynard

Marc qualified in 2015 from the University of Salford with a First-Class Honours Degree in Physiotherapy.

Currently he is working as an Advanced Musculoskeletal Practitioner in both the NHS and Private Sector.

 

Andrew Hardman othotist in custom orthotics

Andrew Hardman

Andrew qualified in 2011 with a First-Class Honours Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the University of Salford.

He has subsequently worked in numerous clinical settings, including large teaching hospitals, community schools, and private clinics. During this time, he has gained extensive experience in managing a range of adult and paediatric conditions, both neuromuscular and musculoskeletal.

Andrew is a caring and diligent clinician who strives to achieve the best possible outcomes, utilising innovative and bespoke solutions that are tailored specifically for our clients’ needs.

Carol Hughes neurological physiotherapist

Carol Hughes

Carol’s background as an Education Healthcare Assistant, has given her a wide experience of working with and caring for children and adults.  She can provide general support to others and is passionate about provide good care and promoting independence for individuals. 

Carol has worked in collaboration with Physio Therapies, speech and language therapy and other healthcare staff within her patient’s home, school or hospital setting.  Carol is trained in using Makaton and PECs (which doesn’t involve verbal communication), Moving and Handling, Safeguarding, Disability  Awareness, Infection and Prevention Course, Online Safety, Health and  Safety, Confidentiality and Data Protection. From doing the above training it helped Carol to be able to assist as a team member in implementing personal, wellbeing and health related programs

Louise Horsley neurological physiotherapist

Louise Horsley

With over 20 years’ experience Louise specialises in the care of children and young adults who have been diagnosed with conditions such as cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury and congenital diagnoses.

Louise is an extremely knowledgeable and versatile physiotherapist. She goes out of her way to develop positive and lasting relationships with her clients and their families to achieve results.

She has in depth knowledge of specialist equipment, statutory assessments, outcome measures, and treatment techniques. She has run orthotic clinics alongside orthotists and has been a team leader.

Claire Sewter neurological physiotherapist

Claire Sewter

Claire joined the Let’s Go Physio in January 2025, and brings many skills to the team.

She is experienced in providing assessment and treatment for a range of musculoskeletal conditions, as well as her keen interest in neurological physiotherapy.

Claire is also a Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist with a wealth of experience working in health.
