Supporting Children With Complex Medical Needs and Physical Disabilities

Partnering with Jolly Josh in Rochdale

We are proud to support local charity Jolly Josh that supports children living with complex medical needs and physical disabilities.

Jolly Josh is an inclusive, supportive and accessible children’s centre in Castleton, Rochdale.

An amazing space for children living with complex medical needs and physical disabilities

More than ‘just’ a centre, Jolly Josh is a modern, purpose-built haven for children living with complex medical needs and physical disabilities.

A fully accessible space which offers a world of play, social engagement, and hydrotherapy-based experiences tailored to the unique needs of young people, aged 0-19.

The centre includes an array of specialist mobility, accessibility, and play equipment, ensuring that every child, alongside their families and caregivers, can enjoy safe and supported play.

Including a fabulous hydrotherapy pool which can be used for physiotherapy sessions.

The Multi-Function Room is a great space equipped with specialised mobility aids, seating options, and engaging play equipment, empowering every child to explore, learn, and create no matter their diagnosis.

Supporting our community

At Let’s Go Physio, we are passionate about supporting our local communities and the opportunity to support Jolly Josh means the world to us.

As we work with so many children with neurological and physical conditions, Jolly Josh is a natural charity partner for us.

We regularly attend the ‘Anchor Networking Group‘ where we enjoy the chance to meet other local businesses and raise crucial funds for this amazing charity.

At the May meeting, we heard from guest speaker Azeem Amir, who spoke about blind football and the importance of accessibility in the workplace.

Fantastic Facilities

The Hydro Pool at Jolly Josh is equipped with a state-of-the-art ceiling track hoist, an adjustable adult-sized changing bed, and an accessible changing room with shower facilities.

The charity hosts a weekly Splash Together session for children aged 0-5 and their caregivers and can even host Family Splash sessions.

Additionally, if you would like your child to receive their Hydrotherapy sessions, supported by a member of Let’s Go Physio, we can see you there.

This means you can also take advantage of Jolly Josh’s ‘Changing Places’ Toilet. This facility serves as a clean, safe, and dignified space for disabled individuals, and can be used by anyone in the area.

This can also be used by anyone visiting the local area.

We look forward to continuing to support this fantastic charity. If you would like any more information about Jolly Josh you can visit their website here https://jollyjosh.co.uk/
