What are Orthotics?
Orthotics refers to custom-made devices designed to provide support, comfort, alignment, functional independence and pain relief.
Orthotic devices can be used throughout the body (neck, spine, shoulders, hands, knees, ankles and feet.
These made-to-measure devices can be splints, braces, insoles, specialist shoes or boots which are used to treat a variety of conditions such as pes planus (flat footedness), plantar fasciitis, high arches, cerebral palsy, hammer toes, stroke patients, those with multiple sclerosis and scoliosis. Orthotics can also be used to treat athletes looking to optimise foot alignment, providing shock absorption and preventing injuries caused by repetitive motions or inadequate support.
We work with both the NHS and Private Orthotists to prescribe, develop and fit a variety of insoles, splints, aids and braces.

Worried Parent
A worried parent came to us after using the NHS Orthotics service for several years and decided to seek more expertise following her daughter’s condition.
Let’s see what they had to say about our Orthotics service:
“We had used NHS orthotics services for several years before we felt the need to seek more expert and thorough assessments.
Let’s Go Physio had been recommended to us by a charity we use. I know it’s a big decision to make, to decide to use non-NHS services however once we met with the team and had our first assessment I knew it was 100% the correct decision for our daughter.
I felt such a huge sigh of relief to be given such a detailed, thorough, honest and expert assessment. The team are incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, kind and professional.
The difference between the assessment, treatment, quality of the products/equipment and the aftercare provided between Let’s Go Physio and the NHS is worlds apart.
We believe our daughter is in the best hands with Let’s Go Physio and they sincerely care about her development. They are human and understand the challenges that go with wearing AFOs and offer great advice when we come unstuck. For all of the above reasons, we would recommend Let’s Go Physio and the team; knowing we are giving our daughter the very best start in life.”
We understand that the prospect of treatment can be daunting. To help make your experience as comfortable and as stress-free as possible, our team of therapists will work with you to create a bespoke therapy plan.
